A record number of people used the bus during the Victorian Christmas Fayre.
First Bus became the fayre’s first sponsor last year, providing £15,000 in funding and running the event’s park and ride service.
City council documents show 826 more people used the park and ride in 2023 than in 2022, a 25 percent year-on-year increase.
Across the bus network, including the park and ride service, 14 percent more people took buses during the Victorian Fayre week compared to previous years, with Saturday, December 2 being the busiest bus day of 2023.
The week of the Victorian Fayre was the busiest week on the buses in Worcester since Covid.
