A MAN is due to appear in court this week charged with stealing a Mercedes from a dealership in Gloucestershire.
Matthew Lynas, age 36, is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Friday.
Lynas, of Northwick Close, Worcester, is charged with stealing a white Mercedes of unknown value belonging to the Mercedes Benz of Cheltenham and Gloucester dealership.
The theft is alleged to have occurred on December 19, 2022.
Based at Ashville Business Park in Staverton near Gloucester, the high-end dealership sells a large range of new and used Mercedes.
No pleas have been entered.
Please note: An error on Cheltenham Magistrates' court list incorrectly stated Matthew Lynas' age as 101. He is in fact 36. We have updated the story to reflect the discrepancy.
