A WORCESTER firm is collecting Easter eggs to hopefully "bring a smile to families".
Staff at Stock N Lock Self Storage, based at Venture Business Park in Weir Lane, decided to support Worcester Foodbank.
Store manager Jacqui Simmons said: "We are collecting Easter eggs to donate to Worcester Foodbank.
"We have worked with Worcester Foodbank before and really wanted to support them at a time when pressure is on families to buy Easter eggs.
"We hope that this small gesture will help bring a smile to families that use the Worcester Foodbank."
The firm is collecting eggs via friends and family, regular customers and businesses and via requests on its social media platforms.
A poster has also been produced with the deadline for drop-offs in the Easter egg drive being on Sunday, March 31.
Jacqui added: "Anyone is more than welcome to come during our office hours to donate – Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturdays 9am to 5pm and Sundays 11am to 5pm."
The firm provides secure self-storage units for rent, catering for people who may be going "from milestone moments to challenging chapters and everything in between".
It earned the Self Storage Association (SSA) award for Best UK Facility for two years in a row.
The Lowesmoor Wharf-based city food bank, supported by The Trussell Trust, provides three days of nutritionally-balanced emergency food and support to local people referred to it in crisis.
