A WELL-loved quirky floating cafe is running a spin-off which will be a hit with pizza lovers.
Cafe Pizza, being run from a van outside Cafe Afloat, Diglis Basin, is to be launched with a grand opening this Friday, (March 4).
The new venture is promising customers "delicious wood-fired pizzas" and it is being teased on social media the full menu will be revealed ahead of the launch event.
Cafe Pizza will open between 4pm and 8pm weekly on Fridays and Saturdays and people can use the outdoor seating area or takeaway.
Cafe Afloat is an independent business in a converted canal boat moored in Diglis Basin.
The cafe serves meals, snacks and drinks on the water and has tables on the quayside for customers.
After sharing the news pizza lovers showed their excitement on Facebook, one writing "We will be there".
Dave Price has been the owner of Cafe Afloat for the last few years - but the business has been open in Worcester for the last 15 years.
