The Green Party has announced it will celebrate international women's day with a free event in Worcester on Friday (March 8).
The walk, organised by Worcester Green Party, will be led by Leisa Taylor, community campaigner for Cathedral Ward.
Starting from Vesta Tilley’s statue at 11.30am, there will be a 90-minute walk, where attendees will learn about numerous notable women from Worcester.
The walk will conclude at the Guildhall for a brief reception in the Mayor's parlour.
Ms Taylor said: "It is essential that we continue to celebrate and platform women’s achievements to inspire others to follow in their footsteps."
