FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in Pershore on Sunday night, (March 3).
Two crews from Worcester Fire Station attended the fire at a property in Church Lane, Pinvin, near Pershore just after 7pm.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "A small fire in the back of a chimney breast had been extinguished before the arrival of the fire service.
"Cutting away was carried out for further investigation with small gear chimney tools and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots all used.
"A small amount of charred timber was removed from the chimney breast.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended."
The spokesperson added firefighters left the scene just before 8pm.
