An archery club wants permission to build a new clubhouse.
Droitwich Archery Society said the building would replace the three storage containers it currently uses and add “much-needed training, workshop and recreational spaces” to its current facilities in Salt Way, Hanbury.
Plans submitted to Wychavon District Council say the club’s current facilities “fall woefully short” of the basic level expected by bodies such as Sport England.
As well as toilet facilities and storage, the clubhouse would include a large hall for coaching sessions, award ceremonies and social gatherings.
