A TEENAGE girl has now been missing from Worcester for a third day as poster go up around the city centre.
Alissa went missing from Newtown Road on Monday night (February 26) and since then her family, police and residents have been searching for the 14-year-old.
Missing person posters have now appeared across city centre businesses' windows, including at Worcester Foregate Street railway station and McDonald's in The Cross to raise awareness among the public.
Yesterday, Alissa's mother shared Worcester News' appeal on Facebook urging people to "help bring her baby home".
She said on Wednesday night: "We are approaching 48hrs now. Someone has to have seen or spoken to her.
"Help bring our baby home. We are worried sick and can't rest until she is home.
"Any information, call us or the police. Any information is welcome, even if you think it's small - it could help us a lot."
When she went missing, Alissa was wearing black tracksuit bottoms and possibly a black Canada Goose coat.
It's believed she may be in the Worcester or Malvern areas.
Since her disappearance, an outpouring of sadness has been felt across the city, with many residents wanting to help the family in the search.
One resident went to Facebook to say: "Can we help? Is there any sort of search that can be joined? Our hearts go out to her parents. Hope she's found safe and well."
Another added: "Really hoping she is ok!
"In the tiniest hope that she is reading this - please find a way to get to help Alissa.
"Nothing is too big that it can't be sorted, I promise!
"Find someone safe to talk to and let your family know you're safe even if you're not ready to go home. There are so many people who are hoping you are ok."
West Mercia Police has confirmed this afternoon (Thursday) that Alissa still has not been found.
In the statement, police said: "She has been missing from Newtown Road in Worcester since 10.30pm on Monday night (February 26).
"When she was last seen, she was wearing black tracksuit bottoms and possibly a black Canada Goose coat.
"It's believed she may be in the Worcester or Malvern areas."
