A PERSON was injured in a four-car crash in Worcester.
The crash took place on Bromwich Road, Worcester, on Tuesday afternoon, (February 27).
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said police were called at 12.50pm to the crash finding four vehicles that were involved and one person who they said suffered minor injuries.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.50pm to a road traffic collision involving a car and three stationary vehicles on Bromwich Road in Worcester.
"One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"Upon arrival we found two patients, a man and a woman who were the drivers of two of the cars.
"They were assessed and had sustained injuries not believed to be serious.
"They received self-care advice before being discharged at the scene.”
A Worcester News reporter, who arrived at the scene at around 1.20pm, saw one ambulance, an ambulance car and a police car.
Among the cars damaged at the scene were a Honda, BMW and a Mercedes.
The road wasn't closed as cars were able to get through but, at 1.35pm, police held traffic as it was reduced to one lane for a period while the cars were recovered.
Shortly after 1.35pm the road fully reopened, police thanking people for their patience.
