Police are ramping up efforts to crack down on drivers using mobile phones when behind the wheel.
In the last three years, two fatalities and 61 injuries have been recorded in the West Mercia Police force area when the use of a mobile phone by a driver has been a contributing factor in the incident.
Over the next fortnight, the issue will be highlighted nationally as part of a UK-wide campaign to enforce the law on mobile phone use while driving.
