THE following cases were heard at Worcester Magistrates Court.
JOHN STEPHENS, of Terrace Road, Worcester, admitted speeding when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on February 22.
The 61-year-old drove a Land Rover on the A46 Sedgeberrow Bypass, Worcestershire, at a speed exceeding 60 miles per hour on March 15 last year.
Stephens was fined £216, and ordered to pay victim surcharge of £86 and costs of £135.
Stephens was also given three penalty points.
Stephen was told to pay the total £437 within 28 days.
STORM WOODS, of Sycamore Road, Worcester, was caught driving a motor vehicle while using a hand-held mobile telephone.
The 24-year-old committed the offence while driving a Volkswagen on Worcester Road, Malvern, on April 14 last year.
Woods had denied the offence, being found guilty at Worcester Magistrates Court on February 22.
The defendant was given six penalty points, fined £219, and ordered to pay £88 victim surcharge and costs of £200.
Woods must pay the total of £507 in full within 28 days.
SHAHRUKH SARFRAZ KHAN, of Burnley Road, Accrington, Lancashire, was caught speeding in Worcestershire.
The 30-year-old's case was dealt with through the single justice procedure at Worcester Magistrates Court on February 22.
Magistrates found Khan guilty of the offence after hearing he was driving a Volkswagen at a speed above the limit of 50mph on the A449 Trunk Road, Kidderminster to Ombersley on April 26 last year.
Sarfraz Khan has been told to attend the court on May 15 for the next hearing of the case when magistrates which will consider disqualification.
CHRISTOPHER PENFOLD, of West Haddon, Northampton, was found guilty of speeding at Worcester Magistrates Court on February 22.
The 38-year-old was dealt with by single justice procedure.
Magistrates heard Penfold had driven a Toyota on the A4103 in Leigh Sinton, near Malvern, on June 18 last year, at a speed exceeding the 30mph.
Penfold was given four penalty points.
He was fined £440, and victim surcharge of £176, costs of £90.
Penfold was ordered to pay the £706 total within 28 days.
ROB WHINNERY, of Haywain Avenue, Worcester - who was caught driving without insurance - has been disqualified from driving.
The 52-year-old was found guilty by single justice procedure in January, the latest hearing of the case, which the defendant did not attend, being heard at Worcester Magistrates Court on February 22.
Magistrates heard the 52-year-old drove a Peugeot on Purleigh Avenue, Worcester, on May 27 last year when he did not have insurance.
Whinney was banned from driving for six months - the disqualification made due to repeat offending.
Whinney was fined £660, ordered to pay costs of £90 and victim surcharge of £264 - the defendant being told to pay the £1,014 total within 28 days.
STEVE Williams, of Home Lane, Martley, was found guilty of driving a vehicle while using a mobile phone.
The 36-year-old was found guilty by single justice procedure at Worcester Magistrates Court on February 22.
Williams committed the offence while driving a Ford on the A440 in Worcester on June 15 last year.
Williams was disqualified from driving for a year due to repeat offending.
The defendant was fined £220 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £88 victim surcharge.
Magistrates ordered Williams pay the full amount, £398, in full within 28 days.
