IT HAS been a popular place to come and spend a morning and an afternoon for a long time but now Tenpin Worcester has gone through a refurbishment we thought we'd take a look around.

The first thing we noticed as we entered the building in Perdiswell is that the refurbishment involves a completely different set up of the main seating area and bar, with leather-seated booths filling the middle as the designated place to eat.

The bowling alley, off Droitwich Road in Worcester, also now has added two karaoke rooms, for those who fancy a singalong after a spot of bowling.

There are also three escape rooms by award-winning Houdini's Greatest Escapes and a laser tag arena.

Behind these booths are six pool tables, which cost £6 per hour to use.

Worcester News:

The bar has had a complete makeover, and now houses a wide range of spirits (for cocktails or otherwise), wines and bottled and draught beers and ciders.

Staff at Tenpin Worcester have seen notable changes in the number of customers.

Bar manager Pavel Kuchejda, said: "We've seen a massive increase in people coming in."

"We get around 3,000 over the Friday, Saturday and Sunday period."

"We've smashed our records for daily sales, for each day of the week in fact, we've smashed weekly and monthly records for sales, but it's always important to keep getting people down and involved with Tenpin."

Worcester News:

Daniela Pichlerova, General Manager at Tenpin Worcester, said: "Following significant refurbishment, we are delighted to showcase our new and improved Tenpin site.
