SCHOOLS across Worcestershire have been forced to close due to flash flooding.
Severe weather across the county today (Thursday) has led to Himbleton CE First School in Pershore and Eckington CE First School in Evesham to close their doors.
Himbleton First School revealed it will close at 12.15pm due to "severe and rising flood levels in the local area".
Eckington First School will be closing its doors at 1pm.

A yellow weather warning for heavy rainfall was issued yesterday by the Met Office, which has also warned of hail and thunder throughout the day.
The warning is in place between 3am and 2pm.
