This year's Kidical Mass bike rides will take place on February 25, with the meeting point set at Worcester's Cafe Viaduct at 12.45pm.

In partnership with Bike Worcester, the cycling event for all ages will follow a city-wide route.

The group ride will wrap up the day at the Arch 27, The Arches, next to the Hive, by organising free creative fun with free drop-in Cardboard Assembly play from 2pm to 4pm.

Kidical Mass bike ride is open to all ages, wheels, and abilities.

Fleur Visser, a regular participant with her partner Justin and their nine year old daughter, said: "We love the stress-free nature of the Kidical Mass bike rides through the city and the fun games and activities afterwards.

"It is encouraging to chat with others who agree that cycling is an efficient way of moving around our city."

Katie and Rob Collier, organisers of Kidical Mass Worcester, said: "We have been organising these family friendly all-ages events in Worcester for nearly two years, with 50-100 people joining in each time.

"Bike Worcester's support to help marshall the events is crucial, and we're really grateful to volunteers who make these rides possible.

"We're proud to be part of a global movement that puts children at the centre of decisions for road safety and transport infrastructure."

In March, the first Kidical Mass event will take place in Dines Green, offering fun bike rides to families who participate in the Honeywell Primary School Bike Bus.

Kidical Mass, a worldwide movement, is urging governments to invest in safe cycling infrastructure to make cycling a more pleasant experience for everyone, including children.
