FIRE crews rushed to the city's hospital after reports of a "smell of burning".
Three fire engines were at Worcestershire Royal Hospital last night (Tuesday) after there was a smell of burning.
There was no sign of fire and a thorough check was carried out using a thermal imaging camera.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Three HWFR crews – one each from Worcester, Droitwich and Malvern Fire Stations – were called at 8.52pm on February 13 to a smell of burning at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
"There was no sign of fire and a thorough check was carried out using a thermal imaging camera.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 9.35pm."
