A 19-YEAR-old woman who choked a victim before assaulting a police officer has been warned all options including jail are possible when she next appears before magistrates.
Reena Williams' sickening attack took place at Marilyn's nightclub, Evesham, during the festive period on December 30 last year.
Lauren Millichip, prosecuting, said the victim went to the women's toilets with her friends and knocked on one of the doors of a cubicle.
Williams, of Banks Road, Badsey, near Evesham, then came out and abused the victim saying "I will put you in A&E".
The prosecutor said Williams then turned violent pushing the victim with "extreme force" into the door, then slammed the victim's head three or five times against it causing her pain.
Miss Millichip said the attack continued with Williams grabbing the victim's neck and tightening her grip to restrict breathing to the point the victim was losing consciousness.
When police arrived Williams then kicked PC Hart in the leg causing him to lose balance.
Miss Millichip said the victim was left distressed in the attack and her injuries included scarring and bruises to her neck.
Williams who admitted common assault of an emergency worker and assault by beating when she appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court, was defended by Mukhtiar Ubhi.
He said it was Williams' first conviction as an adult but had previous convictions when she was a youth.
The solicitor asked for the case to be adjourned to allow the probation service to complete a pre-sentence report.
Dr Carys Clarke, chairperson of the bench, told Williams they would grant the adjournment for the report but stressed it would be "all options", which doesn't rule out a jail sentence.
The chairperson added: "Please cooperate with the probation service during the writing of the report - it is in your interest."
Williams was told she would be sentenced on February 29 at the city court.
The defendant was told she was on conditional bail - the one condition being she must not enter Marilyn's Nightclub.
The case was heard on February 1.
