Shrove Tuesday is a holiday for pancake indulgence, but Severn Trent is urging Worcestershire citizens to bin leftover food waste.
Later today (Tuesday, February 13), many will be baking pancakes, which could lead to their batter, fats, oils, and greases clogging the sewers.
Grant Mitchell, sewer blockages lead at Severn Trent, said: "This pancake day, we just need people to have a think about what they are putting down their drains and whether it could have an impact on the sewers."
