FLOOD warnings remain in place across Worcestershire as dramatic pictures show the aftermath of flooding in the county.
The images show how the River Severn burst its banks, flooding Diglis and Pitchcroft - with urgent warnings for residents to take immediate action still being in place in Worcester.
Flood levels peaked at 4.72m in Diglis on Saturday morning (February 10), but levels are still high and are expected to remain high for the next week.
The Environment Agency expects flooding in Quay Street, South Quay, Diglis Avenue and Hood Street.
In Upton, aerial pictures show how some businesses have become islands as water fills surrounding fields near the river Severn.
There are currently two road closures in the town which include Hanley Lane and Mill Lane.
A spokesperson for the Environment Agency said: "River levels remain high but are falling at the Diglis (Worcester) river gauge as a result of recent heavy rainfall.
"Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. We expect flooding to affect properties at Quay Street, South Quay, Diglis Avenue and Hood Street.
"We expect river levels to remain high over the next few days.
"No further significant rain is forecasted over the next few days, but we are closely monitoring the situation.
"Our incident response staff are liaising with Local Authorities.
"Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded."
