The Swan Theatre Worcester is set to welcome former Doctor Who actors Colin Baker and Terry Molloy in spring.

The duo, from the Crime And Comedy Theatre Company, is due to perform a stage adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's detective tale, 'The Hound of the Baskervilles'.

The play will take place on March 10.

Following successful performances across the country in 2022, the actors return to their roles to deliver an adaptation of one of literature's most celebrated detective mysteries.

Worcester News: Terry Molloy will play Watson

While once mortal enemies in Doctor Who, Mr Baker and Mr Molloy now play the perfect detective partnership of Holmes and Watson, respectively.

Director Martin Parsons said: "We originally staged this brand new adaptation of The Hound of the Baskervilles in 2022 to commemorate the 120th anniversary of its publication.

"But such was the popularity of the tour with audiences that we’re delighted to be returning to theatres in 2024. The key to its success was the pitch-perfect performances of Colin Baker and Terry Molloy in their portrayals of Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson.

"We’re in for another treat and I’m thrilled to be able to bring two such fine actors together again on stage in these iconic roles."

The stage is designed as a radio studio and the actors set for a radio broadcas.
