A MAN has been declared dead at the scene following a medical emergency at a house in Worcester.
A witness said a police van, two police cars and ambulances were outside an address in Hylton Road in St John's in Worcester yesterday evening.
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a medical emergency at a private address on Hylton Road at 5.08pm, two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one male patient who was in a critical condition. Ambulance staff immediately began administering life support but sadly, despite their best efforts it became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene."
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We received a call around 4.30om yesterday afternoon with a concern for the welfare of somebody in a property on Hylton Road in Worcester.
"Officers promptly arrived and sadly a man, in his 40’s, was found dead inside the property.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and there is no third-party involvement."
