An opticians is continuing to raise money for community first responders in Droitwich, with hundreds of pounds already raised.
The team at Specsavers Droitwich in the Salters Shopping Centre have raised over £550 for Droitwich Community First Responders (CFR) through a series of fundraising endeavours, such as a mud run and a variety of raffles and sales.
CFR volunteers provide crucial emergency treatment and support in the minutes before an ambulance crew arrives.

Store director Emma Singh said: "As ever, we’ve been bowled over by the support from the community and are delighted to have raised more than £500 to date.
"We’re continuing to fundraise for this vital service and hoping to boost the total even further."
She added: "‘Working in partnership with the West Midlands Ambulance Service, the CFR provide life-saving services across the area.
"The authorised volunteers give up their time to help others, so we wanted to do our bit to support them.
"Working in partnership with the West Midlands Ambulance Service, the CFR provide life-saving services across the area."
