A TODDLER has received serious injuries after a serious crash in Stourport.
The two-year-old was taken to hospital along with a 10-month-old baby and a man in his 40s who had sustained head injuries.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving.
The crash, which involved the BMW and a Vauxhall Corsa, happened this morning (Sunday) at the junction of the A451 Dunley Road and the B4196 at 6.45am.
It involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa with the partial number plate 'DU07', which had a three-year-old, ten-month-old and a man in his 40s.
The collision blocked the road and though vehicles have been recovered, it was still closed there as of 1.45pm today while the scene is being cleared.
Motorists are urged to seek alternative routes until further notice.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision in Stourport on Severn, Worcestershire this morning (Sunday 4 February) involving two vehicles.
"Anyone who witnessed the collision and has information should call 101 and quote log 98i of today (Sunday 4 February)."
