TWO Worcester restaurants are praised by top chefs in a feature in a national newspaper.
Two restaurants in Worcester have been recommended by Dorian Kirk and Rupert Davidson, chef-directors of A Rule of Tum, Worcester and Hereford.
It comes as The Guardian asked local chefs from around the UK for their top cafes and value-for-money meals, from pizza, sushi, sandwiches and more.
Worcester’s top chef recommendations for a bite to eat
Wayland's Yard in Foregate Street and The Paul Pry in The Butts were singled out by the pair.
Sadly, The Paul Pry has announced it will not be doing food for the foreseeable future after the sudden death of its owner and chef Alex Pope.
The pub reopened on Sunday (January 21) and announced the opening hours will change to 3pm on Wednesday through to Sunday.

The chef-directors told the publisher: “Waylands Yard (6 Foregate St) is a brunch place in Worcester that does really good coffee (it has its own roastery) and classic breakfast stuff: hash browns, Turkish eggs with chilli butter.)”
Speaking about The Paul Pry, they said: "It is a small pub that does a cracking Sunday lunch – you can get pork belly with all the trimmings for £17."
