The PCC has endorsed Government plans to ban zombie-style knives.
The Government announced changes to the law on the machete-like weapons will be implemented from September onwards.
Not only will it be illegal to have, sell, manufacture or move said weapons, but having words or images on them relating to violence is not required to be classified as an illegal weapon.

West Mercia police and crime commissioner, John Campion, said: "It is a sad fact that too many people are dying needlessly due to knife crime.
"One death is one too many.
"I therefore welcome this swift announcement by the Government to address a complex and difficult issue when it comes to tackling knife crime."
PCC Campion added: "In West Mercia, proactive action is being taken by the force to ensure offenders in possession of knives are being charged/summoned but I acknowledge more can be done."
"Knives in any capacity need to be taken off our streets and I believe the right action is now being taken to address this issue within society and to close a loophole which previously caused greater harm.
"I am committed to building a Safer West Mercia and to deliver on this promise."
