A WORCESTER pub has announced it has taken over another watering hole near the city with exciting plans to transform the venue.
The owners of the Anchor Pub and Kitchen, in Diglis Road, have announced they are now also in charge of the Swan at Martin Hussingtree.
The Swan, on the A38 Droitwich Road, shut last Sunday, (January 14).
A spokesperson from the Anchor Pub and Kitchen, writing on social media, said: "We have fantastic news, we have taken over at The Swan at Martin Hussingtree and can’t wait to see you all there.
"The pub (The Swan) should be open around the end of February beginning of March.
"We will be open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner serving homemade freshly cooked to order food.
"All food we use will be from local food suppliers.
"We will have a fantastic artisan coffee shop situated in the pub with freshly made cakes, pastries and a cracking breakfast menu full of your favourite dishes, just perfect for business meeting and after the school run for a coffee and catch up with your friends.
"We will of course be looking forward to building a great new front-of-house team.
"We are looking for managers, assistant managers, floor and bar staff full-time and part-time."
