Amid a nationwide cold snap, the RSPCA has warned people to remember to keep their furry friends warm.
The animal charity has given a series of tips to pet owners, from the dangers of antifreeze and rocksalt to wildlife, to preventing poisonous gases building up in fish ponds.
RSPCA pet welfare specialist Dr Sam Gaines, said: "It’s really important we help our animal friends during this bitterly cold weather."
The RSPCA has also stressed the importance of providing extra bedding, shelter access, food, and water for pets.
