THE following cases were heard at Worcester Magistrates Court recently. 

 

ROSS CAVE, of Bromwich Road, Worcester, admitted using a motor vehicle on a road/public place without third party insurance and drink driving.

The 39-year-old appeared at the court on January 5. 

The court heard all the offences took place on December 30 last year. 

Cave drove a Skoda in Avenue Road, Malvern, without insurance and when he had 111 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit being 35mcg. 

Cave is also accused of aggravated vehicle taking - (driver did not take) and dangerous driving. 

Cave, who has unconditional bail, was told to return to the court on February 1.

 

FJODORS KRIVJONOKS, 30, who provided a care-of address to the courts of St Margarets Road, Evesham, has admitted 11 charges of theft for a shop. 

Krivjonoks stole various items including washing up tablets, fabric conditioners, chocolates, wine and torches from a number of shops between September 21 last year and January 3 this year. 

The shops the 30-year-old stole from included Costcutter, Co-op, Tesco Express, and Shell Euro Garages in Evesham, Pinvin and Pershore. 

His case was heard at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on January 8.

The case was adjourned for a pre-sentence report. Krivjonoks was told to attend Worcester Magistrates Court on February 2. 

Krivjonoks was given conditional bail.

NICOLA HORNER, 36, of Langland Avenue, Malvern, denies harassment without violence. 

Horner's case was heard at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on January 8.

The crown alleges Horner committed the offence in Malvern between November 8 and December 12 last year. 

Horner was told to attend an expected three-hour trial at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on March 19. 

She was given conditional bail including the condition not to contact the alleged victim directly or indirectly. 

 

JOSHUA HUTCHINSON, of Bays Meadow, Droitwich, was found guilty of assault by beating after a trial on January 11 at Worcester Magistrates Court. 

The 33-year-old appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on January 11.

Hutchinson committed the offence on September 30 in Worcester.

He was given a 12-month community order with the requirement to complete 120 hours of unpaid work. 

Hutchinson was told to pay £250 compensation, costs of £660 and £114 victim surcharge.

CHRISTOPHER STONES, 33, of Owletts End, Pinvin, Pershore, admitted theft from a shop and using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour to cause harassment/alarm/distress.

Stones appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on January 8. 

Stones stole jogging bottoms, valued at £38 from Mark and Spencers in Worcester on January 7, the same day as he committed the public order offence. 

Stones was ordered to pay £38 compensation to the shop, £58 to the victim of the public order offences. 

The defendant was also ordered to pay costs of £135. 

 

TOM MANN, of Winnington Gardens, Hanley Swan, denied theft by employee when he appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on January 11. 

The crown alleges the 31-year-old stole £2,400 using a work issue fuel card from his employers, Signal Traffic Management, between May 10 and May 31 last year. 

Mann, who was given unconditional bail, was told to attend his trial which is to be held on April 18 this year at Worcester Magistrates Court.
