Over 100 new jobs have been created across the Midlands as part of Severn Trent's apprenticeship schemes.
The water company announced that applications to join its award-winning programme are now open, offering over 30 varied roles across operations, engineering, digital technology, finance, and the environment.
The opportunities mark a significant increase in job creation, with the company quadrupling the number of available positions since 2020 as they prioritise employment for residents of the Midlands.

Jade Pearson, new talent lead at Severn Trent, reiterated the varied nature of the programme, saying: "What better way to kick off the New Year, than to open up applications ready to welcome our next wave of fantastic new talent into the business, as we continue to create work opportunities for hundreds of people living in the Midlands.
"We’re lucky that we have such a varied programme, and so many different options for people... we actually also now have roles within software development, digital tech design and governance, as well as business, finance, environment, cyber security and even an opportunity to work in our laboratories."
Severn Trent's apprenticeships offer individuals the opportunity to earn while they learn, with successful apprentices guaranteed a job at the FTSE 100 company.
Nathan Worton, from Birmingham, who is currently in his third year of apprenticeship, said: "My apprenticeship has given me loads of opportunities.
"The different things to get involved with are endless, all while still working on my apprenticeship, earning a salary and getting heaps of valuable experience."
The company's apprenticeship scheme has already earned some accolades, having won the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards for Engineering & Manufacturing Employer of the Year in 2023.
It also received the Royal Princess Training Award.
Mr Worton added: "Severn Trent really is much more than just a water company."
Applications will remain open until Friday, March 29.
Interested applicants may visit the company's website (severntrent.com/careers) to learn about the various roles on offer - making it clear that this new wave of apprenticeship opportunities is not just for those fresh from school, but open to anyone seeking a career change, regardless of background or current career stage.
