ENFORCEMENT notices have appeared on the windows of a former department store which was set to become an artisan food hall warning that the contents of the building will be sold.
The notices have been put up on 67-71 High Street in Worcester at what was to become Artisan Food Hall set to open in spring 2022.
Work has seemingly ground to a halt at what was once the city's Debenhams, the department store chain which has now been liquidated.
One notice to 'BLOC71 Limited' (the tenant) from County Enforcement Limited reads: "Pursuant to clause 32 of your lease dated February 23, 2021, we as authorised agents of the landlord have this day re-entered the premises demised by the said lease and the said lease is thereby determined absolutely.
"Proceedings civil and/or criminal will be taken against any party who has entered or attempts to enter the premises without our prior consent in writing."
Companies House lists BLOC71 Limited as having 'accounts overdue' and that its confirmation statement is also overdue.
The company was previously known as Artisan Food Hall Worcester Limited.
Another notice from the Grand Worcester Limited C/O County under Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977 is a public notice of the landlord's intention to sell goods.
It reads: "You are hereby given notice to remove all your assets by January 24, 2024."

It goes on to say: "Unless by seven days you contact the landlord acting as bailee for the goods will sell them without further notice and account to the lawful owner for the balance after the deduction of expenses. Should there be any balance you will be liable for any expenses incurred which are not covered by the sale proceeds (dated January 10)."
We have contacted County Enforcement but they could not add anything at this stage. There appears to be no phone or email listing for BLOC71 Limited.
Plans for the food hall were first confirmed back in April 2021, which was originally tipped to be a nine-month transformation project of the former Debenhams store.
The first floor was earmarked for Canteen Society with plans to open between Friday and Sunday and for pop-up chefs and creators to fill the space.
The second floor was going to feature a city garden once completed and a space that could be hired for events, weddings, parties, and gigs every weekend.
