WITH its numerous top-rate cafes, restaurants and coffee shops, people in Worcester clearly like their food.
And now a TikTok chef has created the ultimate sarnie for the city calling it Worcester's official sandwich.
There is no surprise that the key ingredient is Lea and Perrins Worcestershire Sauce.
TikTok user bignibblescooks concocts 'official' sandwiches for the UK's towns and cities.
Joking that the city is named "Just to give American and aneurysm" - given its tricky pronunciation - he points out Worcester is famous for its sauce as he cracks open an egg and scrambles it.
His tongue-in-cheek commentary continues as he goes on to claim Worcester is "pretty boring" and "essentially a big park with a few tall buildings spotted around it".
@bignibblescooks Love seeing people pronounce worcestershire sauce, this is Worcesters Official Sandwich #worcester #officialsandwiches #officialfood #worcestershiresauce #egg #sandwich ♬ Funkytown - Lipps Inc.
While saying this he heats butter in a frying pan and spreads Dijon mustard onto a slice of brown bread.
"So, how do we get the official sandwich for Worcester? Simply put it is whatever you want as long as you add the famous sauce you can go crazy because who cares.
"This thing isn't even real anyway. If you like loud students and lads driving around in souped-up Corsas then Worcester might just be for you."
As he is saying this, bignibblescooks chops chives, adds the egg to the frying pan then grates cheese which he also adds to the pan.
In goes the chopped-up chives followed by salt, pepper, a good splash of Worcestershire Sauce and then the slices of bread on top.
The melted eggy cheese and bread are then placed together, the bread toasted further and then served up.
Viewers said the TikTokker 'summed up Worcester pretty well' though one points out we have more than just Worcestershire Sauce.
"You could have put black pears and Worcestershire gold cheese - give us a fighting chance, bro."
Another said: "Ham and cheese toastie with Worcestershire sauce cant be beat…"
The video has had over 120,000 views and almost 10,000 likes.
