A CITY centre car park which was forced to close because of Worcester's floods has now reopened.
Crowngate Car Park in Moreton Place, off Dolday, reopened at 6am this morning (Tuesday).
It has been closed since Wednesday (January 3) after the river Severn breached its banks and caused widespread flooding across the city.
Flood waters reached a peak of 5.6m at Pitchcroft on Friday night (January 5) but levels on the Severn are now dropping.
Diglis Bridge remains closed but Sabrina Bridge and all roads affected by flooding in Worcester have now reopened, according to Worcestershire Highways.
