The PCC has announced a crackdown on shoplifting in West Mercia.
Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion has organised a public assurance session with West Mercia Police’s Temporary Chief Constable, Alex Murray, on Monday, January 29.
Commissioner Campion said: "Retail crime has significantly increased over the past six months, both nationally and in West Mercia, mainly driven by shoplifting.
"As your voice in policing, I am committed to ensuring crime doesn’t pay.
"The meeting will be an opportunity for the temporary chief constable to address your concerns and reassure communities."
