The programme, titled 'Beyond the Horizon', will feature compositions from noted composers such as Eleanor Alberga, Antonin Dvořák, Samuel Barber and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
The season’s overarching theme, 'Music for Humans: Compassion', resonates with the societal shift for more empathy and understanding in the current era.
Artistic director and principal conductor, Kenneth Woods, expressed hopes that the concert will provide an uplifting experience for attendees.
April Fredrick, the ESO’s first affiliate artist, and soprano soloist is scheduled to perform at the concert.
The Wisconsin-born Fredrick's contributions to various genres of music have received plaudits in performances across different platforms.
‘Beyond the Horizon’ also exhibits music as a powerful tool for expressing moments of joy, kindness, unity, and security, with Barber's masterpiece reflecting a child's perspective of life and loss in the post-World War II rural America.
A striking contrast from the horrors of war, it nonetheless highlights the inherent human compassion during even the darkest periods.
Tickets can be bought for £25 to £35 at the venue or book online at www.eso.co.uk.
Special £5 tickets have been arranged for carers and individuals aged 18 and under.
