A SECTION of a road in Worcester will close because of flooding.
Worcestershire Highways said it was closing Waverley Street in Diglis tonight (Monday).
The road is closed between Greenway Drive and Orchard Street.
A yellow warning for rain is in effect in Worcester this evening.
The Met Office has also issued a weather warning for rain tomorrow (Tuesday).
A spokesperson for Worcestershire Highways said: “We are in the process of closing Waverley Street, Diglis, Worcester due to flooding - section affected is between Greenway Drive & Orchard Street.”
