FIREFIGHTERS were called to a vehicle in water in Huddington near Worcester.
A crew from Worcester Fire Station were called at 5.29pm on Thursday, (December 28).
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Swiftwater rescue team personnel were deployed into a flooded roadway to investigate a stranded car with lights on but no persons inside.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended.
"The vehicle was removed from floodwater by a member of the public using a winch."
The spokesperson said the firefighters left the scene at 6.05pm.
- Firefighters also attended a small fire in a garage in Rashwood on Thursday evening.
The fire, involving lithium batteries, had been extinguished by the occupier before the arrival of the fire service.
The spokesperson said: "There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 10.04pm."
