The body found in the River Severn on Christmas Eve has officially been named by West Mercia Police.
Officers have formally identified the man as the missing 61-year-old Andrew Bulman.
Mr Bulman was last seen in the Stourport area at around 11pm on Thursday, November 23.
His car, a grey Peugeot 3008, had previously been found by West Mercia Police on Severn Side in Stourport following a public appeal.
Police also released CCTV footage on their website as part of the appeal to help find the missing man.
Mr Bulman's body was discovered by officers in the River Severn in Worcestershire at around 10.15am on Sunday, December 24 and later recovered the same morning.
In a statement to the public, a spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.
"Our thoughts are with Andrew's family at this sad time."
