A dedicated headteacher has gone the extra mile to bring Christmas cheer to her school by become the Elf on the Shelf.
Rachel Mayo from Upton Snodsbury Cof E First School dresses up each day and hides in the school grounds for children and staff to find her.
Joyce Price, office manager, said: "Each day she is Elf on the Shelf, also known as Snodsy Snowflake where she is getting up to all sorts around the school.
"From dressing up as a Christmas tree, to eating all the roast potatoes at lunchtime and even having a little snuggly sleep with our school teddy.
"The children have come in each day super excited to find her."
