A baby signing teacher from Worcestershire has won the national Top Toddler Teacher 2023 award.
Mollie Prior is a teacher at TinyTalk and has been celebrating her achievement with TinyTalk's annual Christmas parties.
Over 500 classes are taught weekly throughout the UK, with Ms Prior teaching sign language to around 150 families each term.
Joining forces with fellow teacher Natalie Lloyd in 2022, TinyTalk offers sessions six days a week in Worcestershire to families eager to learn the communication skill with their little ones.
Samantha Whitaker, TinyTalk toddler coordinator said: "Mollie really goes that extra mile for her families, her fantastic outfits and love for the classes really shines through.
"She wants to shout about signing from the rooftops, she has amazing skills to get her stories across.
"Her mini teacher Natalie really sings her praises and it shows that they are a fantastic team."
Mollie Prior said: "Celebrating the festive season with our Christmas parties has been the perfect way to finish an incredible year.
"We have so much to be thankful for, the support of our wonderful families who have embraced sign language into their lives and the gift of communication between parents and their little ones.
"To be recognised as the Top Toddler Teacher in the UK for 2023 is so heart warming, for me personally and for all the families that have benefitted from our classes over the last seven years.
"It’s been the perfect Christmas present."
Classes take place at Droitwich Methodist Church and Crowle Parish Hall, where attendees learn British Sign Language signs that facilitate communication before spoken language, resulting in less frustrations and happier babies.
Beyond signing, emphasis shifts towards speech and social skills in toddler classes.
TinyTalk is the UK's leading provider of baby sign language, earning several local and national commendations for its family-oriented business and support resources.
Amid the pandemic, the organisation offered live, interactive online classes and a library of recorded sessions on 'TinyTalk TV' their YouTube channel.
