A hair salon has celebrated 10 years in business just weeks after its owner won a prestigious award.
The Evesham-based Courtyard Hair Salon marked the occasion following owner Kirsty Cameron being named West Midlands' Hair Stylist of the Year at the UK Hair Awards 2023.
Mrs Cameron said: "We are thrilled to be celebrating ten years of serving the Evesham community.
"The last couple of years have seen the salon go from strength to strength and we are excited to see what we can achieve in the next ten years."
Formerly located in the town centre, the salon moved to Blackminster Park during the pandemic to accommodate a growing clientele.
Some of Mrs Cameron's clients, who travel from locations as diverse as Edinburgh, London, and Durham, have been with her for over two decades.
Following on from the success at the UK awards, she noted a rise in demand.
She said: "Since winning the award at the UK hair awards, the phone has been ringing non-stop.
"We’re a team of dedicated stylists who take great pride in going above and beyond to ensure that our customers go out the door feeling delighted.
"It’s amazing how many of our clients have become friends over the last ten years and I am so grateful for the role that they have played in our journey and our success."
Occupying a space more than double the size of its original Bridge Street premises, the salon at Blackminster Park has earned a reputation for its environmental credentials, making use of ocean-friendly products wherever possible.
Adding to its success, the salon’s online presence has grown thanks to the efforts of Mrs Cameron's husband, Rob, who uses artificial intelligence to animate his wife offering styling tips to clients.
