THIS week's theme for the Worcester News' Sport Replay series is Women's sport, and most specifically, Bowls.
In the pictures, we go back to 1966 to see the Worcester County Women's Bowls team on President's Day in May and the Malvern Victoria Ladies Bowls team, some years later, in 2004.
In that picture, from the back, left to right: Kit Aldridge, Barbara Cowley, Joan Birchley, Margaret King (vice-captain), Heather Pullin (captain), Mae Drage, Pat Luke and Ann Lloyd.
From the front, left to right: Shirley Parkinson, Jean Scriven, Marion Wothers, Margaret Darke.
The Malvern Victoria Bowls club, established in 1908 and located in Victoria Park, Malvern Link, is home to a large group of members but also provides the facilities to play bowls as non-members, regardless of skill level.
Bowls has been a part of English history since the 13th century and the world's oldest surviving bowling green is located on these shores, in Southampton, and was first used in 1299.
