The council has announced the launch of a new bursary to support young people with special educational needs and disabilities entering the workforce.
Worcestershire County Council, in collaboration with Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, will offer a £1,000 bursary for participants in the Supported Internship Programme.
The year-long programme will offer students exposure to the working world through placements, putting them in position to gain paid employment upon completion.
Cllr Marc Bayliss said: "The Supported Internship Bursary demonstrates our dedication to fostering the growth and development of the county’s future workforce, and championing employment inclusion."
