Patients at Evesham Community Hospital have had their spirits lifted by a visiting therapy dog.
Staff and patients at the Worcestershire Stroke Rehabilitation Centre, which provides a range of specialist therapy for patients recovering from a major stroke, recently welcomed Maisie.
Maisie and her owner now visit the hospital weekly, interacting with patients who get to stroke Maisie and feed her treats.
Therapy Dogs Nationwide, a national charity, encourages volunteer owners of dogs to provide comfort to hospital patients across the nation.
