Severn Trent were called to a road in Stourport this afternoon after a burst water pipe looked set to cause travel chaos.
Worcestershire County Council Highways and Travel warned residents on Thursday, December 14, that lane closures were likely to be required after a water main burst on Vale Road.
Severn Trent Water was sent to repair the damage and managed to stop the water and refit the manhole cover.
Vale Road is now clear and traffic is flowing.
