Worcester City Council has confirmed the festive bin collection times for residents living in the area.
Christmas is often a time when households have more rubbish with the addition of wrapping paper, boxes and food and drinks from gatherings so it’s worth knowing when you can get rid of it all.
Here is what we know about the bin collection dates in Worcester.
What are the bin collection dates in Worcester this Christmas?
Here are the festive bin pick-up times in Worcester along with their usual collection dates. You can find out more via the Worcester City Council website.
Green or black bins would normally be collected on Tuesday, December 26 but as it’s Boxing Day, they will instead be collected on Saturday, December 30.
This affects homes in the Cathedral, Nunnery, St Peter’s and Battenhall wards.
All other dates for domestic bin collections will remain the same and bin collections will be back to normal from January 2, 2024.
Bin collections on December 27-29 and January 2-5 will go ahead as normal with no changes.

The council asks that you put your bins out by 7am on the day they will be collected.
For those who may normally book a bulky waste collection, it’s important to note that the service will be cancelled on the following dates: Tuesday, December 26 and Thursday, December 28 as well as Tuesday, January 2 and Thursday, January 4.
