A SWEET little pug called Doug needs a new home as the search is on to find his perfect match.
Doug, who is from Evesham, is described as 'a sweet and happy chap who is looking to brighten up someone’s life'.
A spokesperson for the Dogs Trust said: "He’s an older pooch, and might prefer a quieter home but can live with primary school age children as long as they will appreciative of the fact that they will need to be gentle with him.
"Doug could share his home with another calm dog, following a successful mix at the centre prior to adoption. As you can see from the photographs, Doug loves his food.
"He has been on a weight loss plan and is now significantly slimmer and healthier. He does still have some ongoing medical needs that are typical of the breed."
Doug is nine years old and is 'living his best life out in a foster home'.

A Dogs Trust spokesperson said: "He is a sweet lad and can’t wait to have a permanent home, preferably with a comfy bed! Doug is good in the car and can be left home alone for several hours. He is also fully housetrained."
To apply to adopt a dog people have to create an account and fill out an application form which is available online. The form asks questions about a potential owner's home and lifestyle.
Dogs Trust will use this information to look at all available dogs at your chosen centres and try to find a match.
The charity will be in touch within seven days of receiving an application and start looking for a match.
Potential adopters will not need to do anything else or apply again for three months as the Dogs Trust will be actively looking to match them with a dog.
