SHOPPERS looking to pick up a Boxing Day bargain from a popular retailer will have a longer wait again this year.
Next's Boxing Day sale has proved popular at 458 stores in the UK in past years.
But in 2021 the fashion and homeware chain announced it would close on Boxing Day to give its staff a well-earned break - and that was the same situation last year.
A spokesman for Next has now confirmed this will be the case again in 2023.
It means all UK stores, including Worcester's High Street and Elgar Retail Park stores, will be closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, which falls on a Monday and Tuesday this year.
A spokesperson for the retailer told us its 'End of Season Sale' will start on Wednesday, December 27 but customers will be able to shop online during the bank holiday.
