Paramedics were seen in the city centre this afternoon (Saturday, December 9).
An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were in Broad Street, near the entrance to the Crowngate Shopping Centre, at about 12.30pm.
An eyewitness said paramedics were helping a woman who appeared to have fallen on an escalator.
The city centre is busy this afternoon, with a market taking place in the High Street and people doing their Christmas shopping.
