Worcester’s favourite Kays Panto returns to the Swan Theatre in January - opening on Thursday January 25 for 14 performances until Sunday February 4 2024.

Rapunzel is Kays’ 69th production, especially written for Kays by Paul Tate.

Directed by Gail Moran and Cath Skyrme and featuring the talented dancers from Harlequin Stage School accompanied by musical director Andrew Easton.

Join Kays Theatre Group as they take you to the village of Loose Laderhosen.

An evil villainess has locked Rapunzel (Charlotte Hasnip) in a tower far away, and she spends the next 18 years waiting for her Prince Charming to come and rescue her.

One day, the handsome Prince Stefan (Matt Sudworth) has heard of a beautiful young woman with long, golden hair and how she is being held captive.

With the help of Dame Polly Pumpernickel (Rob Brown) Stefan takes on the challenge of finding Rapunzel and bring her safely home.

This twist on a classic fairytale will have you laughing all the way through. Full of slapstick and true panto gags, it really is the best way to beat the post-Christmas blues – Oh yes it is!

Tickets for 'Rapunzel' cost £13.50 each and are now available from Worcester Theatres Box Office at Huntingdon Hall, on line at www.worcestertheatres.co.uk or by phone 01905 611427.
