A Worcester theatre has open spaces for drama groups dedicated to people with learning disabilities.

These opportunities, at Vamos Theatre, arise thanks to fresh funding that caters to participants aged 14 and above.

Held weekly during term, the sessions encourage exploration of theatre skills, with a special focus on 'full mask,' a performance style for which the theatre is internationally renowned.

Honor Hoskins, Vamos Theatre’s creative producer, said: "We are really happy to have received funding enabling us to offer more places at Vamos Central and Vamos Central Youth.

"Both groups have a big impact on the lives of the participants and it’s clear that there is a demand for a flexible and supportive space for people to enjoy drama and creativity.

"We’d like to invite anyone within reach of the weekly sessions to join."

Vamos Theatre extends its invitation to any individuals within the vicinity of Worcester who are interested in taking part in the enriching experience.
