A MAIN road in Worcester is closed because of a leaking hydrant.
Worcestershire Highways warned Newtown Road is shut so repair work can begin.
It will remain closed overnight and is set to reopen at 6am tomorrow (Tuesday).
Severn Trent Water is currently at Newtown Road carrying out work to fix the leak.
A spokesperson for Worcestershire Highways said: “Newtown Road, Worcester is now closed throughout the night for Severn Trent Water to repair a leaking hydrant under the bridge - road set to reopen at 6am tomorrow.”
